HERE ARE A FEW WAYS THAT STUDENTS CAN GET INVOLVED AT BOSWELL...
Boswell Ambassadors
Two students are selected from every classroom to serve as Boswell Ambassadors.
Their duties include:
* to be a leader for their classroom and their school
* to always be a good example of how to act
* to have a cheerful attitude and give away lots of smiles
* to raise and lower the flags each morning and afternoon for their assigned week
* to lead the Pledge of Allegiance over the intercom for their assigned week
* to be a “welcoming ambassador” for new students to their classroom
* to take new students on a building tour, be their friend at lunch and on the playground for the first few days
By taking on these duties, Boswell Ambassadors make Boswell School a great place to come and learn!
Boswell Singers
Boswell singers are an auditioned group of students from 4th and 5th grade who participate in the Boswell choir. This ensemble meets weekly to practice together. Children in this choir work on pieces for performances as well as fundamental vocal techniques and is led by Mr. Tapson.
Boswell Carnival
The Boswell Carnival is an annual fundraising event at our school. Each room is set up with a different carnival type game, outside has inflatables, and the cafeteria has a ton of great food. Tickets are purchased by attendees and each "game" takes one to two tickets. It is a fun event for the whole family. Last year was a huge success! Our goal was to raise funds for technology in our building. Our community helped us earn around $11,000 - what a celebration!
